Two  bodies,  One  soul

We're more than kindred spirits you and I;

Soul mates implies two separate identities.

I taste the salt of every tear you cry,

Your every sorrow brings me to my knees.

A bond between us does not say it well,

That still equates to one and one is two.

Our lives are not dual clappers in one bell;

one spirit, we're united me with you.

I smell each flower that titillates your nose,

Feel each smile that illuminates your face.

Everywhere you are is where my heart goes,

Without you I would vanish with no trace.

Beyond astrology, just charting stars,

Two bodies with one soul is what we are.
